I enjoy sharing random things that I stumble across, in this video I talk about pricing of NFTs for the solo artist. When you’re a solo artist with talent but no community exposure it can be difficult to know how much to price your NFTs for. More so, it is tempting to price your NFTs in the hundreds of dollars because you see other people pricing them high. Ultimately, you are not a big project. You are a solo artist and you need to consider this when you price.
Large NFT projects often offer up to 10,000 mints to their community of up to 5000 owners. They charge between 0.03 – 0.1 ETH ($30 – $330 USD). If they are charging those prices with a big marketing machine and large community, how can you justify pricing your NFTs within the same range? I don’t think you can. Unfortunately the worlds most amazing, mind blowing art isn’t worth anything if no one wants it. It may be better to price it competitively to get those volume sales to put your name out there so that when you work on future projects people will pay more attention. We all want to get rich yesterday, unfortunately as a solo artist you probably already know the hustle. NFTs are just another hustle!
